“I'm afraid that sometimes you'll play lonely games too. Games you can't win 'cause you'll play against you.”     ― Dr. Seuss

What is Initiative?

In political science, an initiative (also known as a popular or citizens' initiative) is a means by which a petition signed by a certain minimum number of registered voters can force a public vote (plebiscite). The vote may be on a proposed statute, constitutional amendment, charter amendment or ordinance, or, in its minimal form, to simply oblige the executive or legislative bodies to consider the subject by submitting it to the order of the day. It is a form of direct democracy.

Insights From the Initiative

From the Initiative what we have gained was that having initiative we would have greater kind of community we are living now and have laws that suits the people and for the people not for the beneficiary of the government officials that's why they don't want to pass a bill that would take them out of their places as government officials such as the political dynasties we should pass a law that would defy them and cannot accept officials that are families or somehow related to each other to prevent them to be political dynasty in fact if we have these good laws that would prevent them from corrupting our country I doubt that we would prosper and no one would be left out. No beggars, no street families, less crime and the like. About the bill we have chosen the sin tax bill was that if we ever passed this bill there is no guarantee that people would stop smoking rather they would find more ways on how to buy cheaper ones like from black market, smuggling and the like.
